Flight information

Due to airspace restrictions in Western Europe as a result of the on-going volcanic activity in Iceland, some flights in and out of Budapest-Ferihegy Airport will be delayed. As flight restrictions remain place in Western and Northern Europe on Friday, passengers are strongly advised to contact their airlines before coming to the airport.

According to weather forecast volcanic ash won’t reach Hungarian airspace until afternoon, so airport closing not expected in the next few hours.
