Flying horses spotted at Budapest Airport

Fourteen racehorses bred in Hungary were flown to China las week, on board Cargolux’s Boeing 747. Air Cargo: Wild Horses Flown From the Hortobágy to the Russian Steppe

No less than 14 wild horses (called Przewalski’s horse) kept in the Hortobágy National Park were flown from Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport to the city of Orenburg on the steppe beyond the Ural Mountains. Direct flights to Korea due to start this summer

Asiana Airlines will launch direct charter flights between Budapest and Seoul Incheon Airport during the peak period of the summer season. Runway Run at Budapest Airport for the 4th time!

KLM reinforces presence in Hungary

As of March 27th, 2016 KLM is increasing its capacity: a fourth flight will be introduced to the Dutch capital, Amsterdam. The flight will be operated with 132-seater B737 aircraft. Budapest Airport hits an all-time high before taking 2016 by storm

Budapest Airport recorded final passenger traffic numbers of 10.3 million, a resounding average 12.5% growth, and over 1.1 million more visitors than in 2015, ending the year on an all-time high. While other European airports had an average growth of just 5%, the Hungarian gateway was confirmed as one of Europe’s fastest growing airports.
