The choice of destinations offered by Budapest Airport has been expanded once again as Dutch airline Transavia has transferred its Budapest flights from Amsterdam to Rotterdam. The white-colored Boeing 737 type aircraft, bearing the characteristic stripes of Transavia, will fly the route between the Hungarian capital and the Dutch port city four times a week. Passenger traffic at Budapest Airport decreased by less than 4.7 percent last year, in spite of the loss of its base carrier and the protracted global economic crisis.
