Terminal 2 – New Traffic Regulations
Budapest Airport (BUD) has implemented a new access regime on the roads towards Terminal 2, which will go live on 8 August 2012. Please use Terminal Parking for passenger pickup and drop-off, which is located only 25 meters from the terminal building, has plenty of capacity available and offers 10 minutes free of charge*.
When you enter the Terminal Parking, you get a parking ticket. Then simply drop-off or pickup your friends or family members, and if you drive to the exit within 10 minutes (from the time you entered the Terminal Parking), you will be able to exit free of charge by inserting the ticket in the exit terminal. As simple as that!
The former Pay & Display car park has been converted into a premium area called Premium Parking, managed with automatic barriers. Although the Premium Parking can be used for drop-off and pickup as well, it has very limited capacity, offers only 5 minutes free of charge* and, due to the premium location, the tariffs are less attractive than those of the Terminal Parking.
*The free of charge period is granted maximum twice per day, entries to any of our car parks are added up.

Premium Parking
Is an exclusive location to pick up or drop off someone right at the terminal important to you? Then the ideal place to stop is the Premium Parking right at the terminal with 70 spaces at departures level and 53 at arrivals level.
When you enter the Premium Parking, you get a parking ticket. You can exit the car park with your ticket within 5 minutes free of charge*.
The parking fee can be paid by coins and banknotes (HUF only) at the parking meters located next to the terminal access doors.
After you paid, you have 10 minutes to leave the parking area by car without further charges. Please keep your parking ticket until you leave as the exit gates can be opened only with a valid ticket.
If you plan to park for a longer duration, we recommend that you use our Terminal, Holiday Plus or Holiday car parks.

Terminal Parking
Are you collecting or dropping someone off at Budapest Airport? Do you plan to park at the Airport for more than an hour? Is the Premium Parking full? Then we recommend that you use our Terminal Parking next to the terminal. It is located at 25 meters from the terminal and 749 spaces are available there.
It is also an excellent and convenient parking facility for business travellers, city breakers and bank holiday makers as the daily rates are of good value for money.
When you enter the Terminal Parking, you get a parking ticket. You can exit the car park with your ticket within 10 minutes free of charge*.
The parking fee can be paid by coins and banknotes (HUF only) at the parking meters and at the paymentkiosk in the middle of the car park by credit card as well.
After you paid, you have 15 minutes to leave the parking area by car without further charges. Please keep your parking ticket until you leave as the exit gates can be opened only with a valid ticket.
If you would like to park at Budapest Airport for more than one day and running on a tighter budget, we suggest that you use our Holiday Plus Parking or our Holiday Parking.

Holiday Plus Parking
Do you plan to park at Budapest Airport for more than one day? Going on holidays for a weekend or longer? Interested on the closest long-stay car park to the terminal building? If the answer is yes, then we recommend that you park at our long-stay Holiday Plus Parking at only 175 meters to the terminal building.
You will reach the terminal within an easy 3-5 minutes’ walk. The car park offers 500 parking spaces.
When you enter the Holiday Plus Parking, you will get a parking ticket.
The parking rates can be paid by coins and banknotes (HUF only) at the parking meters and at the payment kiosk in the middle of the Terminal Parking by credit card as well.
After you paid, you have 15 minutes to leave the parking area by car without further charges. Please keep your parking ticket until you leave as the exit gates can only be opened with a valid ticket.

The Holiday Parking is the closest budget parking to the terminal building, at only 400 meters. You will reach the terminal within an easy 6-10 minutes’ walk. The car park offers 1000 parking spaces.
When you enter the Holiday parking, you will get a parking ticket.
The parking rates can be paid by coins and banknotes (HUF only) at the parking meters and at the payment kiosk in the middle of the Terminal Parking by credit card as well.

Business Parking
Would you require higher services such as guarded parking with free transfer to the terminal door? Then the ideal place to park is our BusinessParking where 240 spaces are available. By making use of this service you can leave your car in enhanced security. The unit of payments is days and you will be transferred between the Business Parking and Terminal 2A and 2B by minibus free of charge. The transfer takes only 2 minutes as it is the closest guarded parking to the terminal building.
When you enter the Business Parking, you will get a parking ticket. After you find your parking spot, hop on the free minibus that is waiting for you and will transfer you to Terminal 2A or 2B.
On your way back to the airport, please go to the AirportShuttle-Minibus desks which are located in the arrivals halls. You can call the driver using the phone which is on the desk by dialling the number 200, and let the driver know that you need the transfer service back to the Business Parking. The driver will immediately transfer you back to the car park free of charge.
The parking rates can be paid by cash (HUF only) or credit card at the car park’s customer service office located next to the entrance of the car park.
After you paid, you have 30 minutes to leave the parking area by car without further charges. Please keep your parking ticket until you leave as the exit gates can be opened only with a valid ticket.

Bus Parking
Are you dropping off or picking up a group of passengers by bus? Then you can park at our Bus parking lot which you can access by turning left from the road leading to the terminals.
Please note that the roads in front of Terminal 2 have very limited space, therefore we strongly discourage you to use them to wait for arriving passengers.Instead, please go to the roads in front of Terminal 2 if your passengers require this service from you and only once they are gathered there and ready to be picked up.
We recommend you to use the Bus Parking as waiting area and also to pick up and drop off your passengers as it offers a quieter and more secure environment than the roads in front of the terminal and is conveniently located at a 5 minutes’ walk from the terminal.
When you enter the Bus Parking you will get a parking ticket.
The parking rates can be paid by coins and banknotes (HUF only) at the parking meters and at the payment kiosk in the middle of the Terminal Parking by credit card as well.
After you paid, you have 15 minutes to leave the parking area by bus without further charges. Please keep your parking ticket until you leave as the exit gates can only be opened with a valid ticket.

Tips & information:
Car parks are available 24 hours a day throughout the year.
You can request a VAT invoice:
• by mail (address: Budapest Airport Zrt. 1185 Budapest, BUD International Airport) during the next 30 days after the payment based on the receipt received at the parking meters, or
• on the spot when paying at the payment kiosk in the middle of the Terminal Parking or at the customer service of the Business Parking.
Loss of parking ticket:
Please make an inquire at the payment kiosk in the middle of the Terminal Parking in order to obtain a ticket replacement. If you lose your parking ticket the published prices will be applied based on the recorded time of entry.
Parking for persons with reduced mobility:
The first 60 minutes of parking is free of charge for persons with reduced mobility at the designated spaces. The discount is only valid in the Terminal Parking, against presentation of the disabled parking pass, for a maximum of 60 minutes from the time of entry printed onto the parking ticket received. Please request your discount at the customer service in the Terminal Parking.

In absence of payment your vehicle will not be released. The operator does not take responsibility for any damages resulting from this.
The Premium Parking, Terminal Parking, Holiday Plus Parking, Holiday Parking and Bus Parking are unmanned. No claims are accepted for any damages to cars or for loss of property in any of our car parks (except in the Business Parking in which we take responsibility for loss of property only).
