Before you leave

Check that you have your travel documents, since you will definitely need them during check-in.

Pack any sharp items and liquids into your hold baggage. Pack into your hand baggage items you may need during the flight, such as a book, tissues and your wallet.

Please keep an eye on the size and the weight of your bags. If you have any questions, please contact your airline for advice.

Check which terminal your flight departs from.

On Budapest Airport’s website you can find a parking cost calculator which you can use to calculate which airport car park is best for you.

If You are a passenger with reduced mobility or handicap, please notify the airport of your specific needs at least 48 hours before departure.

At the airport

Please arrive at the airport one and a half hours prior to the departure of your flight.

The first stop is check-in, where bags are also checked in.

Check-in is followed by passenger security screening, the X-raying of clothing and hand baggage.

You are free to shops in the transit area, since the products offered here had already undergone security screening.

On board the aircraft
