New shops

TERMINAL 1

The retail development of Terminal 1 was completed at the beginning of 2009 and all outlets were rented out, ensuring that shoppers can choose from the best products. Budapest Airport compiled the appropriate mix of shops and restaurants based on feedback from travelers, in the hope of satisfying even the highest level of customer demands.

Photo Hall at Ferihegy

Photo Hall has opened its first airport shop in the departure hall at Terminal 1. The photography, entertainment electronics, IT and mobile communications experts are at the service of passengers every day with a wide product range and advice. Photographs can also be printed at the shop immediately, on site.

HUB in the center

The retail mix at Terminal 1 has once again been enhanced with another fresh feature. The latest member of the HUB chain has opened in the non-Schengen lounge of the low-cost terminal, offering soft drinks, snacks, sweets, newspapers and magazines. As shown by its name, HUB shops are primarily located next to busy transport junctions and transfer points, such as the Kálvin tér and the Dózsa György út metro stations in Budapest. The shop’s internal layout is open and friendly, its comely green color scheme sends a message of freshness to customers.

TERMINAL 2

Interchange

Currency conversion desks at Terminal 2 will be operated by Interchange going forward. The three newly constructed and the four renovated counters, located at various points of the two terminals, are easily recognizable due to their conspicuous orange color.

Flocafé

A new café has opened at Terminal 2B. The main strength of Café Flo is its coffee, as customers have a choice of numerous varieties. In addition to the usual espresso, it also offers American, macchiato and even coffee with sambuca, or you can taste the café’s specialty called the caldó, a dense mix of coffee and cacao with biscuits and other delicacies. Those with a sweet tooth can treat themselves to confectionery from Greece.
